Job Summary
The key focus of this role is to provide 'first point of contact' IT Technical procedure and process support to end users throughout the Dealership network ensuring IT operations meet business requirements to enhance, improve service delivery and business operations
Job Description
Main duties / responsibilities include:


  • Contribute to the delivery and implementation of IT department strategy, policy and process aligned with the business objective.

  • Field incoming Help desk incidents requests from end users and resolve issues accordingly.

  • Provide input to the planning and budgeting.

  • Contribute to the delivery & implementation of IT departmental strategies and policies.

  • Analyze problems, work with developer to plan solutions.

  • Design & implement infrastructure services.

  • Implement and monitor compliance to group policies and standards on network endpoints.

  • Support application development activities, managing computer system assets and software licensing.

  • Analyze, detect and correct complex technical problems and deficiencies.

  • Undertake Dealership visits to provide onsite technical support and conduct IT assets audit.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation resolutions.

  • Provide technical leadership, training and consultation.

  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to improve service delivery

  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to identify countermeasures to enhance security and performance.

  • Provide first point of contact for operational support and advice to end users on IT Technical issues.

  • Support Group IT Road Map implementation plans within PNG and the Solomons.

  • Complete other projects and duties as required by the National IT Manager and Business.
