Job Summary
SP Brewer has an immediate requirement for a Brewing Technician – Lae, to join their Brewing Team in Lae, reporting to the Brewing Supervisor.
Qualification & Experience:
Preferably bachelor education level.
Preferably in beverage with operation shop floor experience.
Preference for experience in: Brewing / Biotechnology, etc.
Total Production Management (TPM) etc.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to HEINEKEN's Safety, Food Safety, and Sustainability standards, as well as local regulations within the Brewing department.
- Contribute to and follow the Safety agenda in the Brewing department.
- Ensure all waste is removed from the department premises maintaining house keeping and GMP standards.
- Execute and maintain safety tasks at the required level.
- Ensure timely supply of all raw, auxiliary, and cleaning materials to respective location.
- Perform basic inspections of materials to ensure quality is not compromised.
- Monitor the quality of raw materials, in process products and processes.
- Identify abnormalities and improvement opportunities and execute tasks accordingly.
- Implement the 5S methodology, tagging process for abnormalities, CILT, and apply problem-solving tools.
- Participate in or lead improvement teams.
- Operate and execute all brewing processes on machines in line with approved standards and procedures.
- Manage documentation and reporting within the scope of authority.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and report deviations to the Brewing Shift Supervisor.
