Shady Rest Hotel is seeking a skilled Handyman/Carpenter to perform general maintenance and repairs, with a focus on carpentry. The ideal candidate will ensure the hotel’s facilities remain safe, functional, and well-presented, supporting daily operations through timely and efficient upkeep.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a handyman, carpenter, or in a similar maintenance role
• Skilled using power tool, carpentry equipment, and reading technical drawings
• Physically fit and able to work in various conditions and flexible hours
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing and minor electrical repairs


• Build, install, or repair furniture, fixtures, and fittings


• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality


• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and assist the maintenance team as needed.
