Job Summary
The National Agriculture Research Institute (NARI) is a statutory body established under the NARI Act (1996) and operates under the Ministry of Agriculture. NARI operates across 6 regional centres and is responsible for conduct of applied scientific and development-oriented research in agriculture focusing on food production and the transition to commercial agriculture.
Employment Conditions:
The above positions are 12-months contract engagement positions, based at the various regional research centres as indicated. Extension of contracts is dependent on performance and ongoing funding. Job Description
To assist with documentation of climate change impacts on agriculture and agricultural intervention technologies, conduct or support implementation of related research trials, and supervise multiplication of livestock and plant materials. The successful applicant will report to the Team Leader, NARI Southern Regional Centre at Laloki, and must be able to plan and work with minimum supervision.
