Experience / Attributes:
At least 3 years’ experience in overseeing and/or supervising service operations.
Strong Product Knowledge
Able to Interpret Parts
Sound knowledge on ERA NET & ERA LINK systems.
Comprehensive report writing skills.
Strong computer literacy & working knowledge of MS Suite.
Strong written & oral communication ability.
Effective time management skills.
Extreme attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure.
Ability to organize, plan, coordinate & communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have own accommodation in Mt. Hagen.
Job Description
Main duties / responsibilities include:
- Personal & employee safety is the primary consideration in all assigned tasks & accountabilities.
- Monitor unit progress with strict compliance & adherence to correct Panel procedure & process to achieve "promised time".
- Maintain, monitor daily service or repair schedule ensuring all RO's are delegated to the appropriate technician.
- Coordinate resources to ensure incoming & scheduled RO's are completed in conjunction with Toyota quality standards.
- Regularly monitor progress & evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of all service or repair maintenance performed by Technicians.
- Disseminate information, feedback on unit progress & status throughout the departments & customers on demand.
- Conduct on site technician toolkit inspection to ensure assets are maintained, managed, utilized correctly & fully functional.
- Assist 1st - 4th year Apprentices ensuring practical training activity remains compliant with Apprentice indenture standards.
- Implement operational assessment activity in conjunction with TSO to track & drive apprentice development progress.
- Perform daily safety precautionary & preventive procedures in/around workstation & report hazards, risks to Service Manager.
- Provide support to the Workshop & customers on complex technical interpretation issues or diagnosis process understanding.
- Ensure full compliance with Anzen, quality & industry regulatory requirements for all products, services & work activities.
- Provide coaching & mentoring support to team members, ensuring the successful delivery of departmental objectives.
- Maintain professional & technical knowledge by attending educational workshops to develop growth opportunities.
- Complete other projects and duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
