We have an exciting and challenging opportunity coming up for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the vacant role of Store Person. This position is located within the Parts Department – Tabubil Dealership and will report to the Parts Manager.
Experience / Attributes:
Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
2 years’ experience in role or significant experience in a similar role.
Proven experience as Store Person or significant experience in a similar role.
Familiar with Procurement process & procedure.
Comprehensive report writing skills.
Strong written & oral communication ability.
Strong computer literacy & working knowledge of MS Suite.
Effective time management skills.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to organize, plan, coordinate & communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
Job Description
Main duties / responsibilities include:
- Comply with Pre-Delivery process utilizing IDS system for the provision of accurate information and operational efficiency.
- Stock locations are managed efficiently and organized to ensure all orders are labelled and stored in the correct location.
- Efficiently move stock outside, within the Warehouse environment and remain accountable for the safe storage of product.
- Ensure stock components, subcontracted parts and spares are receipted correctly and stored into a valid location.
- Check, verify stock availability levels to ensure re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
- All details, variances and discrepancies in received stock are accurately recorded and reported to the Line Manager.
- Ensure all ordered parts are accurately dispatched to customers, suppliers and sub-contractors via Freight provider.
- Perform daily safety precautionary & preventive procedures around the workstation & report hazards, risks to the Line Manager.
- Establish and maintain a filing and document control process for the tracking and update of all stock records.
