Global Constructions Limited (GCL) is a 100% PNG-owned and operated company with a history of over 30 years in the civil construction industry in Papua New Guinea.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least Diploma in Accountancy or Bachelor of Accountancy degree.
A minimum of 2 years work experience preferably in the Construction Industry.
Good oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office applications such as MS Excel, Word, and Email (Outlook) as well as MYOB accounting package.
Team player, self-motivated and well discipline individual.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares disbursement vouchers / cheque requisitions and process in the system (MYOB).
- Handles the petty cash fund and prepares the summary of the disbursements for liquidation.
- Monthly reconciliation of Payable Ledger accounts and Suppliers SOA’s.
- Prepares and submits weekly PO report and other tasks as required (such as cheque release, issue receipts)
- Periodic and systematic filing of all records and safekeeping of confidential files.
- Daily Bank runs, documents deliveries and pick up to customers/supplier, etc.
