We have an immediate requirement for a HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team in Port Moresby.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent
Previous experience as a Visa and Work Permits Officer is preferable however not essential
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work in isolation as well as in a team
Excellent time management skills with the ability to forward plan to ensure deadlines are met
High attention to detail
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Culturally sensitive
Class 1 Driver’s license is preferable however not essential
Potential must be flexible to work Saturdays, and on public holidays when required. This role requires a Police Clearance certificate as a minimum requirement.

Job Description
The role:
Reporting to the Manager – Health & Wellness, the HR Business Partner will play an integral part in the success of Brian Bell Group. This is a higher-level role where the HR Business Partner will manage complex non-citizen documentation, team member medical insurance, team member rewards & recognition program and team member housing.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Permits, Visas & Passports
- Manage new / renewal process of Work Permits and Visas of non-citizen team members
- Maintain accurate and organized records of visa and work permit applications including supporting documents and correspondence
- Meticulously review applications and ensuring compliance with immigration requirements
- Ensuring timely processing of applications
- Ability to identify potential problems or issues with applications and taking appropriate action
- Manage sensitive and confidential matters relating to non-citizen documentation
Team Housing Program
- Manage Team Member Housing for Brian Bell Group
- Liaison between BB Properties team and team members to ensure that repair & maintenance requests are being attended to in a timely manner.
- Conduct Entry / Exist Housing Inspection in accordance with Brian Bell Group’s housing procedures
Rewards & Recognition:
- Coordinate monthly sales incentives
- Coordinate quarterly sales incentives
- Coordinate service awards
- Coordinate annual team incentives
Medical & Life Insurance:
- Manage the end-to-end team member Medical Insurance scheme
- Vet medical service provider invoices prior to processing payment
- Coordinate medical evacuation for team members when required
- Coordinate the end-to-end team member life insurance process
- Manage sensitive and confidential matters relating to team member health and wellbeing
