We have an exciting and challenging opportunity coming up for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the vacant role of Service Advisor. This position is located within the Service Department – Goroka Dealership and will report to the Service Manager.

This position will provide "first point of contact" support to management, employees and customers in the provision of customer advice, solutions and support to drive customer engagement and sales target level performance towards the achievement of business objective.

Experience / Attributes:
Certificate in Business Management or related discipline.
2 years’ experience in role or significant experience in a similar role.
Comprehensive report writing skills.
Effective time management skills.
Computer literate & working knowledge of MS Suite.
Sound Knowledge of ERA LINK system.
Possess Customer Service qualities.
Strong written & oral communication ability.
Ability to organize, plan, coordinate & communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

Main duties / responsibilities include:

• Comply with Pre-Delivery process, utilizing IDS for the provision of accurate information and feedback to Dealerships.


• Monitor unit service or repair status with strict compliance to Service procedure and process to achieve "promised time".


• Handle incoming service calls & conduct outgoing service reminder calls offering advice & information on unit service or repair.


• Provide first point of contact to giving support, advice on service & repair unit progress to employees & customers on demand.


• Coordinate with the Team Leaders & technicians for progress information to ensure repair orders coincide with customer details.


• Accountable with maintaining accurate record keeping of asset register for all technicians toolkit.


• Compile and process time sheets for technicians and TAC casual drivers fortnightly and submit for payment.


• Raise purchase orders to suppliers of goods and services, with accurate, timely payment of invoices as per payment schedule.
