Job Summary
This position will ensure Port Moresby and Lae Logistics centers have adequate parts inventory and stock availability, to ensure reliable distribution and delivery of stock to all franchises, customers and Dealerships, on time across the country.

Experience / Attributes:
Diploma in Business Management or related discipline.
Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
5 years’ experience in Stock Controller role or significant experience in a similar role.
Possess a high level of computer literacy & working knowledge of MS Suite & ERA NET, ERA LINK & IDS Systems (is desired)
Valid Driver’s License (able to drive automatic or manual would be advantageous).
Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple deadlines.
Sound understanding and commitment to excellent inventory controls.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to organize, plan, coordinate & communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
Job Description
  Main duties / responsibilities include:


  • Streamline inventory control methodologies to promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times and reduced stock levels.

  • Comply with relevant stock management operations aligned with set products / retail policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate cyclic stock checks to ensure stock regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters.

  • Utilize ERA NET, ERA LINK & IDS systems to ensure stock information and details are accurately & systematically recorded.

  • Work with NDC regularly to monitor, track stock movement ensuring information is accurate, accessible & available on demand.

  • Disseminate updates & information on received orders throughout the Dealership network on demand.

  • Raise GRA's & purchase orders to suppliers of goods & services with accurate, timely invoice payment as per the schedule.

  • Compile, prepare Stock take and additional reports required by the Line Manager.

  • Work with PDI to ensure quality inspection is conducted and aligned with product quality standards prior to delivery.

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to Kaizen service delivery, resolve problems & identify countermeasures to enhance performance.

  • Maintain a good working relationship and communication with suppliers handling stock issues to avoid delay in order process.

  • Monitor team to ensure daily work plan regarding stock, inventory, dispatch and administration set targets are achieved.

  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops to develop growth opportunities.

  • Respond promptly to all internal & external customer enquiries or requests via telephone, email or face-to-face communication.

  • Establish, maintain strong business relationships with all customers to enhance & increase product sales, customer experience.

  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
