Job Summary
Logistics Officer provides support to the Logistics operational system, aligned with the strategic direction and vision of the business for the enhancement and engagement of customer service and Kaizen initiatives to improve service delivery and compliance.

Qualification Requirement:
Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
2 years experience in Logistics Officer role or significant experience in a similar role.
Comprehensive report writing skills.
Strong written & oral communication ability.
Strong computer literacy & working knowledge of MS Suite.
Effective time management skills.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to organize, plan, coordinate & communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:


  • Personal and employee safety is the primary consideration in all assigned tasks and accountabilities.

  • Remain compliant with all vehicle preparation standard operating procedures and process during car ship operation.

  • Accountable for vehicle imports with strict compliance and adherence to PNG Customs regulations and policies.

  • Perform prompt bond clearance procession, monitoring of payments and internal COC receipting with relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain excise duty/GST rates and check-off on assessment entries ensuring records coincide with vehicle specification.

  • Monitor incoming overseas/local shipments and follow-up on the delivery of shipment to LLC and the Dealership network.

  • Support Stakeholders for all aspects of inventory/sales administration, establishing and maintaining effective communication.

  • Bond register is maintained, updated and forwarded to the Customs Warehouse team as per month end requirement.

  • Collate check-list on the units received, quality inspection summary and submit to the Line Manager.

  • Compile, submit Freight and additional reports required by the Line Manager.

  • Provide support with maintaining, updating and record keeping of asset register of toolkit and spare key management.

  • Incident reports are submitted to the Anzen Coordinator and appropriate Managers within 24 hours of occurrence.

  • Establish, maintain a filing and document control process for record keeping of all costing reports.

  • Work with HR to provide general Administrative assistance, support to Logistics team on HR policies, procedures & processes.

  • Ensure full compliance with Anzen, quality & industry regulatory requirements for all products, services & work activities.

  • Establish, maintain strong business relationships with all customers to enhance & increase product sales, customer experience.

  • Respond promptly to all internal customer & 3rd party enquiries or requests via telephone, email or face-to-face communication.

  • Complete other activities and duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
