1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using WantokJobs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Engage in harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Upload malware or harmful code
• Impersonate other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4. Intellectual Property

All content on WantokJobs, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of WantokJobs or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit content without permission.

5. Payment Terms

Payment for credits and services is due at the time of purchase. All prices are displayed and processed in Papua New Guinea Kina (PGK). We accept bank transfers, direct deposits, and card payments via an authorised payment gateway. Formal invoices are issued with Net-14 payment terms for enterprise clients. Billing disputes must be raised within 30 days of the transaction.

Card payments: Card details are entered directly into the payment gateway's secure environment. WantokJobs does not store complete card numbers, CVV/CVC values, or PINs. A browser redirect is not proof of payment — all payments are verified server-side before service activation.

6. Credit Policy & Subscription Renewals

WantokJobs operates a subscription-based credit system. The following policy applies to all employer and job seeker accounts:

• Credits carry forward on renewal: If you renew your subscription on or before the expiry date (or within 30 days after expiry), any unused credits from the previous subscription period are automatically carried forward to the new period.
• Credits cancelled on expiry without renewal: If your subscription expires and is not renewed, all unused credits are automatically cancelled and cannot be recovered.
• No calendar-year reset: Credits are not reset on January 1st or any fixed calendar date. Resets are tied exclusively to your individual subscription lifecycle.
• Annual plan holders: Enterprise and annual plan holders receive unlimited access during their plan period; purchased credits remain active for pay-as-you-go usage if the plan transitions back to credit billing.
• Renewal window: To ensure credits are carried forward, renew within 30 days of your plan expiry date. Renewals beyond 30 days of expiry are treated as fresh activations.

You will receive renewal reminder notifications at 60 days, 30 days, and 7 days before your subscription expires. It is your responsibility to arrange renewal before expiry to preserve unused credits.

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the service has not been utilised. Refunds for job postings are prorated based on remaining duration. Credit packages that have been partially consumed are not eligible for refund. Enterprise annual plan refunds are subject to negotiation with our enterprise team. 7a. Legal Restrictions

Use of WantokJobs is subject to our Legal Restrictions. Human trafficking, forced labour, fraudulent recruitment, deceptive job offers, and payment-for-job scams are prohibited. Employers must comply with all applicable labour, immigration, and employment laws. WantokJobs.com may refuse, suspend, or cancel services where legal, fraud, sanctions, or compliance concerns exist.

8. Service Modifications

WantokJobs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

WantokJobs is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify WantokJobs from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under applicable PNG laws. Both parties agree to waive class action rights.

12. Termination

WantokJobs may terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason without liability.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of PNG courts.
