We have an immediate requirement for a Property Coordinator to join our Property team in Port Moresby.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Leasing & Property Manager, the Property Coordinator is responsible for overseeing various administrative functions within the property management department. This role includes invoicing, validating land titles, ensuring timely submissions of stamp duties, managing outgoings, following up with debtors, and providing essential support to the Finance team and responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance requests, overseeing work orders, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. This role requires effective communication and organizational skills to facilitate maintenance operations for both residential and commercial properties, while also managing general administrative duties.
The Property Coordinator will maintain accurate records, respond to tenant inquiries promptly, and assist the Property Managers and General Manager with general administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate with industry work experience
Bachelors’ Degree in Business Management and / or related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Real Estate or Property Management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels
Must be team oriented and display a positive attitude
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to prioritize multiple deadlines in an efficient manner
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Possess conflict resolutions skills
High attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
Excellent computer skills and proficient in MS Office applications
Driver’s license is preferrable but not essential
Pronto Xi knowledge would be advantageous
Potential must be flexible to work Saturdays, and on public holidays when required. This role requires a Police Clearance certificate as a minimum requirement.

7 -10 years Senior Sales and leadership experience, in B2B / Direct Sales and / or Mining Industry sales experience
A passion for the PNG Mining Industry
Ability to travel to regional areas where many key clients are located, regularly throughout the year
Ability to work with others; lead and / or take direction
Ability to develop and help lead a high-performance mining sales team
Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
Be well connected and have an extensive contact list within the PNG Mining sector
Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
Excellent communications skills required throughout the business and with clients
Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
Effective in a variety of presentation settings including one-on-one, small and large groups, and with peers and Executive Management
Can present ideas and directions that lead others to action
Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals
Can identify and articulate the processes necessary to get things done efficiently and align resources effectively to complete activities
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Microsoft Excel
Ability to anticipate risks and identify contingency plans and processes to prevent disruptions when risks occur
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Preferred but not essential depending on relevant experience
Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse and multicultural environment
Experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers
Able to process information in the form of analyzing reports, compiling stock information and verifying data for business improvements
Working knowledge of Pronto would be an advantage
